As of July 27, according to official data, rapeseed has been threshed on 539.6 thousand hectares in Ukraine, which is 40.8% of the projected area. 1.31 million tons have been harvested with an average yield of 2.43 t/ha.
Over the past week, the rapeseed harvesting area has more than doubled, increasing from 209 thousand to 539.6 thousand hectares, and the harvested amount has risen from 429.6 thousand to 1.31 million tons.
The regions with the largest cultivated areas are leading in terms of harvested volume:
Top 5 regions by rapeseed harvest:
- Mykolaiv region — 220.3 thousand tons, yield 2.08 t/ha, 105.9 thousand hectares harvested (68%).
- Odesa region — 188.9 thousand tons, yield 2.16 t/ha, 87.6 thousand hectares harvested (53%).
- Poltava region — 97.5 thousand tons, yield 2.36 t/ha, 41.3 thousand hectares harvested (88%).
- Cherkasy region — 87.2 thousand tons, yield 2.88 t/ha, 30.3 thousand hectares harvested (59%).
- Dnipropetrovsk region — 85.7 thousand tons, yield 1.97 t/ha, 43.6 thousand hectares harvested (54%).

Where rapeseed yield is highest
The best average rapeseed yield indicator has currently been recorded in the western and northern regions.
Top 5 regions by rapeseed yield:
- Lviv region — 3.71 t/ha.
- Sumy region — 3.58 t/ha.
- Khmelnytskyi region — 3.22 t/ha.
- Vinnytsia region — 3.02 t/ha.
- Rivne region — 3.06 t/ha.
In the Lviv region, 9.11 thousand hectares have been threshed, yielding 33.78 thousand tons of rapeseed. In the Sumy region, 13.1 thousand hectares have been harvested, yielding 46.9 thousand tons, and in the Khmelnytskyi region — 26.5 thousand hectares yielding 85.4 thousand tons.
Thus, as of the end of July, the harvest campaign in Ukraine is gradually transitioning from early grains to active rapeseed harvesting.
